I called the rec office after seeing the sign on the highway about the fishing derby. They said that they hope to make it a tradition if it's successful this year. Hope so--it sounds like a fun way to get kids together doing something outside. Here's the scoop: http://www.baldwinrec.org/Special_Events.html

If you wish there were more kid activities around Baldwin, jump on board and support this one. Wish they could do this every month.

Too bad the weather is turning out to be so cool this weekend. Should be fun, anyway--just bundle the kids up a little.

I didn't even know there was a lake out that way. Guess I need to explore this area better.
