Boyda’s Blue Dog Bungle Boyda Rejected from Blue Dog Coalition, Attempts to Spin Uber-Liberal Voting Record
Washington- Rep. Nancy Boyda (KS-02) appears to be ducking for political cover after she was excluded last year from the fiscally moderate group of Democrats known as the Blue Dog Coalition. Last summer, the Coalition voted on whom to let into their group, and much to Nancy Boyda’s dismay, she was “not selected”:
“The newly exclusive Blue Dog Coalition added five members Tuesday… While Reps. Nancy Boyda (Kan.), Henry Cuellar (Texas) and Harry Mitchell (Ariz.) also applied, Blue Dog leaders said those Members were not selected…” (Roll Call, 06/14/07)
Boyda recently made comments attempting to skew the truth for why she was excluded from the coalition of Democrats with more moderate records:
“She is so independent that she has refused to join the House’s moderate ‘Blue Dog’ Democrats and has turned down entreaties to participate in party programs to promote her re-election.” (National Journal, 03/07/08)
Nancy Boyda also attempted to mask the liberal voting record that she has accumulated in the past year, when she claimed she has a “nonpartisan approach, which, she emphasized, is ‘not based on ideology or beholden to a party.’” How then does Nancy Boyda explain that she has voted with San Francisco Speaker Nancy Pelosi 93 percent of the time? Boyda is out of touch with the voters of her district who have overwhelmingly voted for conservative values down the ticket.
“Nancy Boyda’s commitment to voting in lock-step with liberal Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s far-left agenda hardly qualifies as ‘independent,’” said NRCC spokesman Ken Spain. “The voters of Kansas’ 2nd Congressional District will hold Nancy Boyda accountable for consistently putting party loyalty to liberal Washington leaders above the values of her constituents in Kansas.”

I think we will see a repeat of the last two election cycles. Or, maybe we'll see two women face off for the congressional seat. I'm not too sure, to be honest. But it will be one of those two options.
One thing I do know is this: Boyda Hadda Blue Boyda Dog Rejected By A Uber Coalition Boyda Dog Bunghole!
Yeah, take some of that, you liberals, you!

Well has we now see that we have a pro-Boyda blog right here on speakout, I feel that it is our duty to cross check their information as I encourage everyone to do when reading. I will always add sources when I can/ remember to when I am posting interesting tidbits of information.
As far as this fall I see Lynn Jenkins wining the primary here in the second. I feel that voters threw Ryun out last time and it took some conservatives to do that, and they are not going to just let him come back. We are looking for new blood here in the second, I am not sure if were are happy with what Boyda has done. She was once a Republican and promoted Republican principles when she was running but voted with the Dems 90%+ of the time. Last time I checked we wanted a John McCain from the second district not a partyline towing liberal
