I don't see how the board members can make a decision with so many unanswered questions and concerns. It is a "proposed" saving's. There is no proof it will "save" $400,000 and even if it did, It's a broad spectrum of "savings" from $95,336.50 to $327,986.50. Besides, it wouldn't be saved it would just be reallowcated and we would be in the same position we are now. Once all the expenditures are taken out of the "savings" it's not a savings at all. There needs to be more people trying to hold Mr. Dorathy and the board members accountable for their past decisions before making any new detrimental decisions.

Once the new school was completed the BOE became determined to close the rural schools. Mr. Dorathy once promised the rural teachers and patrons that he would never close schools in his administration. Many teachers remember the day he said this. His latest recommendation was to close both rural schools. How can we ever trust this board and administration in the future?
