CENTRAL AND WESTERN VERNON COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI...
* UNTIL 100 AM CDT FRIDAY.
* AT 632 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. MORE SPECIFICALLY...THE
CITY OF NEVADA HAS EXPERIENCED HEAVY RAIN THIS EVENING...WITH
RADAR ESTIMATING UP TO 3 INCHES FALLING WITHIN THE LAST HOUR. LOW
LYING AREAS ALONG THE HIGHWAY 54 CORRIDOR FROM NEVADA BACK TO THE
KANSAS STATE LINE COULD ALSO EXPERIENCE SOME MINOR FLOODING.
* RUNOFF FROM THIS HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING.
LOCATIONS IN THE ADVISORY INCLUDE...DEERFIELD AND NEVADA. CREEKS...
STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO
THE DANGERS OF FLOODING.
