...FREEZING RAIN SHOWERS POSSIBLE THE REMAINDER OF TONIGHT
INTO EARLY MONDAY MORNING...
RAIN SHOWERS HAVE DEVELOPED LATE THIS EVENING FROM SOUTHWEST
MISSOURI ALONG AND NORTH AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 44 IN MISSOURI
AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 70 IN ILLINOIS. SOME OF THESE SHOWERS ARE
OCCURRING WHERE TEMPERATURES HAVE ALREADY DROPPED BELOW FREEZING
AND THUS ARE PRODUCING LIGHT FREEZING RAIN. TEMPERATURES WILL
CONTINUE TO FALL OVERNIGHT RESULTING IN SCATTERED FREEZING RAIN
SHOWERS. WHERE THESE SHOWERS OCCUR THEY WILL HAVE THE ABILITY
TO PRODUCE A LIGHT GLAZING OF ICE.
UNTREATED ELEVATED ROAD SURFACES...PRIMARILY BRIDGES...OVERPASSES...
MAY FREEZE AND BECOME SLIPPERY. DRIVERS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION
THE REMAINDER OF TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING.
