County,

...AREAS OF FOG WILL CONTINUE EARLY TODAY...
WIDESPREAD AREAS OF FOG WILL BE SEEN THIS MORNING...WITH LOCALLY
DENSE FOG POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY OVER SOUTHEAST IOWA. VISIBILITIES
WILL BE REDUCED AT TIMES TO BELOW A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES. PATCHY LIGHT
DRIZZLE IS BEING REPORTED ALONG WITH ISOLATED LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS.
VISIBILITIES WILL VARY SIGNIFICANTLY IN SHORT DISTANCES...POSSIBLY
TO A FEW HUNDRED FEET OR LESS. LOCALLY HIGHER ELEVATIONS WILL TEND
TO HAVE THE LOWEST VISIBILITIES DUE TO THE VERY LOW CLOUDS NEAR
THE GROUND.
MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO PREPARE FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING CONDITIONS AND SHOULD
SLOW DOWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING LOW VISIBILITIES. AS WIDESPREAD RAIN
MOVES INTO SOUTHEAST IOWA BY MID MORNING...THE VISIBILITIES WILL
IMPROVE.
