* PORTIONS OF CENTRAL MISSOURI AND SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI...
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN CENTRAL MISSOURI...PHELPS.
IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI...DENT...HOWELL...OREGON...SHANNON
AND TEXAS.
* THROUGH LATE TONIGHT
* LIGHT RAIN WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON WITH
POCKETS OF MODERATE RAINFALL. RESIDUAL FLOODING AND RISES ON
STREAMS AND RIVERS WILL CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM
RUNOFF FROM THE HEAVY RAINFALL THURSDAY AFTERNOON INTO THIS
MORNING.
* RIVERS...CREEKS...STREAMS...AND LOW LYING AREAS WILL BE
SUSCEPTIBLE TO FLOODING. IN ADDITION...MANY LOW WATER
CROSSINGS MAY BECOME FLOODED AND IMPASSIBLE.
THOSE CAMPING OR FLOATING ALONG AREA SCENIC RIVERS SHOULD CLOSELY
MONITOR RIVER LEVELS AND BE PREPARED TO SEEK HIGHER GROUND. RIVER
RISES CAN BE RAPID AND SIGNIFICANT.
