VERNON COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI...
* UNTIL 300 PM CDT.
* AT 939 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THAT HEAVY RAINFALL WAS PRODUCING MINOR FLOODING ACROSS THE
ADVISORY AREA. ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN SINCE LAST
NIGHT...WITH AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN POSSIBLE
THROUGH MID AFTERNOON.
* RUNOFF FROM THIS HEAVY RAINFALL IS CAUSING MINOR FLOODING.
CREEKS...STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY
SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE DANGERS OF FLOODING.

THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REPORTED THAT HIGHWAY K IN
BARTON COUNTY NEAR THE KANSAS STATE LINE IS CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING.
