FROM NOW THROUGH SUNSET...A FEW LOCATIONS ALONG AND SOUTH OF A
LINE STRETCHING FROM POPLAR BLUFF MISSOURI...MAYFIELD AND
GREENVILLE KENTUCKY MAY SEE ISOLATED WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.
THE BEST CHANCES FOR SEEING THE STRONGER WIND GUSTS WILL BE ALONG
AND AHEAD OF SMALL LINES OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH THIS
AREA.
THESE WINDS MAY TOSS AROUND LOOSE OBJECTS LEFT OUTDOORS. IN AREAS
THAT HAVE SEEN SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF RAIN RECENTLY...THESE WINDS
MAY TOPPLE WEAKENED OR DISEASED TREES. THIS...IN TURN...MAY DROP
LIMBS ON POWER LINES...KNOCKING OUT POWER TO SOME HOMES.
THE THREAT OF STRONGER WINDS SHOULD DIMINISH AFTER 7 PM CDT ACROSS
