The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
Newton County in southwestern Missouri...
McDonald County in southwestern Missouri...
* Until 930 PM CST
* At 332 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated moderate rain across the
advisory area that has received over two inches of rain since
Monday night. Additional rainfall amounts around one half inch
could fall through late afternoon. This could cause localized
minor flooding in the advisory area of typical flood prone areas
and low water crossings.
* Creeks, streams, and low water crossings will be especially
susceptible to water level rises and minor flooding.
This advisory includes but is not limited to the following low water
crossings...
Highway 43 at Buffalo Creek west of Anderson...
Business Highway 60 just north of Neosho...
Route CC at Lost Creek just south of Racine...
Route DD at The Elk River just north of Noel...
and Route W at Shoal Creek near Ritchey.
