* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
NORTHEASTERN MONROE COUNTY IN NORTHEAST MISSOURI...
SOUTHWESTERN MARION COUNTY IN NORTHEAST MISSOURI...
* UNTIL 300 AM CDT
* AT 907 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. DOPPLER
RADAR ESTIMATED THAT BETWEEN ONE AND THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAS
FALLEN ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN MARION COUNTY AND PARTS OF
NORTHEASTERN MONROE COUNTY OVER THE LAST FEW HOURS. THERE IS A
VERY TIGHT GRADIENT TO THE HEAVY RAINFALL AND SOME NEARBY
LOCATIONS MAY HAVE RECEIVED LESS RAIN. UP TO AN INCH OF
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE TONIGHT.
* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO
OCCUR...ESPECIALLY ALONG SMALL STREAMS AND NEAR LOW WATER
CROSSINGS. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING
INCLUDE...MONROE CITY.
