* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas
for...
Southwestern Adams County in west central Illinois...
Northeastern Marion County in northeastern Missouri...
* Until 630 AM CDT.
* At 1235 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in
the advisory area. 1.50-3.00 inches of rain have fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Quincy, Palmyra, Quincy Regional Airport, Adams, Burton, Liberty,
Taylor, Columbus, Marblehead, Paloma and Fowler.
Additional rainfall of up to 1-2 inches is expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
