...THE FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING OF POOR DRAINAGE AREAS
REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 AM CDT FOR POLK AND SOUTHERN HICKORY
COUNTIES...
AT 338 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THAT RAINFALL WAS DIMINISHING ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. RADAR
ESTIMATED RAINFALL TOTALS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES ACROSS PORTIONS OF
NORTHERN POLK AND SOUTHERN HICKORY COUNTIES SINCE MIDNIGHT.
RUNOFF FROM THIS POOR DRAINAGE WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING. SMALL
STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO
THE DANGERS OF FLOODING.
