A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY.
* LOCATION...NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST MISSOURI.
* TIMING...OCCASIONAL FREEZING RAIN WILL CONTINUE INTO MID-MORNING
AND WILL COME TO AN END BY NOON. TEMPERATURES WILL RISE ABOVE
FREEZING ACROSS THE CHILLICOTHE AND FAYETTE AREAS AROUND
SUNRISE...AND ACROSS THE BROOKFIELD AND MACON AREAS BY NOON.
* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH...WITH THE HIGHEST
AMOUNTS ALONG AND NORTHEAST OF A BROOKFIELD TO MOBERLY LINE.
* IMPACTS...MINOR ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL CREATE VERY HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
CONDITIONS PARTICULARLY ON UNTREATED SURFACES. WINDS GUSTING TO 20
MPH MAY CAUSE MINOR DAMAGE TO ICE-COATED TREES...PARTICULARLY
SMALL BRANCHES. HEAVY DAMAGE TO TREES AND POWER LINES IS NOT
EXPECTED.
* OTHER IMPACTS...FREEZING RAIN MAY BRIEFLY MIX WITH LIGHT SNOW OR
SLEET AFTER 8 AM. ONLY TRACE AMOUNTS OF SNOW AND SLEET ARE EXPECTED.
