...LOCALLY DENSE FOG WILL BE AN ISSUE FOR PART OF THE OVERNIGHT
HOURS...
GIVEN THE RECENT RAINFALL FROM THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
TUESDAY, ALONG WITH LIGHT WINDS AND CHANGING SKY COVER, PATCHY
DENSE FOG WILL BE AN ISSUE FOR A FEW OF THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.
AS THE OVERNIGHT PROGRESSES, INCREASING CLOUD COVER, ALONG WITH
LIGHT SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL HELP TO IMPROVE VISIBILITIES BEFORE DAYBREAK.
HOWEVER, BE WATCHFUL FOR ISOLATED VISIBILITIES BELOW A MILE,
ESPECIALLY FROM NOW THROUGH 4 AM CDT. THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE IN
AREAS THAT RECEIVED RAINFALL THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS AND WINDS
REMAIN LIGHT OR CALM.
DRAMATIC CHANGES IN VISIBILITY MAY OCCUR OVER A SHORT DISTANCE AND
MAY CATCH DRIVERS OFF GUARD. BE SURE TO ALLOW EXTRA ROOM BETWEEN
YOURSELF AND OTHER VEHICLES. USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS OR FOG LIGHTS
IF YOU ENCOUNTER FOG. SIGNAL YOUR LANE CHANGES WELL AHEAD SO THAT
DRIVERS AROUND YOU CAN REACT SAFELY.
VISIBILITIES SHOULD BE UNIFORMLY GOOD ACROSS THE AREA AFTER 5 AM
CDT.
