...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST
WEDNESDAY...
* TIMING...A MIXTURE OF RAIN AND SNOW WILL CHANGE TO ALL SNOW
BEFORE PRECIPITATION ENDS LATE TONIGHT.
* MAIN IMPACT...WET AND SLUSHY ACCUMULATIONS FROM A HALF INCH TO
AROUND AN INCH ARE EXPECTED FROM THE FORT LEONARD WOOD AREA INTO
SOUTHEASTERN GREENE COUNTY AND TOWARDS CASSVILLE. UP TO TWO
INCHES OF SNOW COULD FALL IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN ACROSS THE AREA.
TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY REMAIN IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 30S WHICH
WILL TEND TO LIMIT THE HIGHEST ACCUMULATIONS TO ELEVATED
SURFACES...GRASSY AREAS..AND LESS TRAVELED RURAL ROADWAYS.
HOWEVER... SLUSHY SPOTS WILL BE POSSIBLE ON MAJOR HIGHWAYS...
INCLUDING INTERSTATE 44.
* OTHER IMPACTS...VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED DUE TO GUSTY
NORTH WINDS AND HEAVY WET SNOWFALL. VISIBILITIES WILL LIKELY
BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN A HALF MILE AT TIMES.
