...WINTRY WEATHER FOR THE REGION TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY...
.A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES TONIGHT AND SATURDAY WILL
BRING WINTRY WEATHER TO THE REGION. TWO MAIN PERIODS OF LIGHT
WINTRY PRECIP ARE EXPECTED TO IMPACT THE REGION TONIGHT AND
SATURDAY. THE FIRST WILL MOVE FROM SOUTHEAST COLORADO... AND
MAINLY IMPACT LOCATIONS SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 70 THROUGH MID
MORNING SATURDAY. THERE MAY BE A BRIEF PERIOD OF LIGHT FREEZING
DRIZZLE OR SLEET AROUND SUNRISE SATURDAY MORNING. A SECOND AREA
OF LIGHT SNOW WILL MOVE FROM NORTHEAST COLORADO AND ACROSS THE
AREA LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON. GUSTY WINDS SATURDAY AFTERNOON
MAY LEAD TO PATCHY BLOWING SNOW.

* TIMING/DURATION...SEVERAL PERIODS OF LIGHT SNOW LATE TONIGHT AND
DURING THE DAY SATURDAY. A BRIEF WINTRY MIX OF LIGHT FREEZING
DRIZZLE...SLEET...AND SNOW ARE POSSIBLE AROUND SUNRISE MAINLY
SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 70.
* SNOW/ICE ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW. A LIGHT GLAZE OF
ICE MAY BE POSSIBLE WHERE LOCATIONS SEE FREEZING DRIZZLE.
* WINDS/VISIBILITY...SOUTH WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH...SHIFTING TO THE
NORTH BY THE AFTERNOON. GUSTS 30 TO 35 MPH POSSIBLE.
VISIBILITY MAY BE REDUCED TO A MILE OR LESS AT TIMES DUE TO
BLOWING SNOW.
* OTHER IMPACTS...ROADS MAY BECOME SNOWPACKED AT SOME LOCATIONS.
