EVENING.
* TIMING...PERIODS OF LIGHT SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED THIS MORNING
WITH A CHANCE FOR MORE LIGHT SNOW INTO THE AFTERNOON. ALTHOUGH
A FEW FLURRIES MAY STILL LINGER INTO THE EARLY EVENING IN THE
HIAWATHA AREA...NO ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW ARE
EXPECTED BEYOND THIS AFTERNOON.
* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOWFALL WITH
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
* WINDS...SUSTAINED NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 AND 25
MPH...WITH HIGHER GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH THIS
AFTERNOON. THIS MAY RESULT IN LOCALIZED BLOWING OR DRIFTING
SNOW. VISIBILITIES MAY BE REDUCED TO A QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT
TIMES...SO USE CAUTION ON ROADWAYS TODAY.
* IMPACTS...THE SNOWFALL AND GUSTY WINDS MAY CAUSE SLICK ROADS
AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES ON ROADWAYS. TEMPERATURES WILL
QUICKLY FALL THIS MORNING ALLOWING WET EXPOSED SURFACES TO
FREEZE QUICKLY AND BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS.
