INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS...
BUTLER...COWLEY...HARPER...HARVEY...KINGMAN...RENO...SEDGWICK
AND SUMNER. IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS...CHAUTAUQUA...ELK...
GREENWOOD...LABETTE...MONTGOMERY...NEOSHO AND WILSON
* UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING.
* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH HEAVY RAINFALL... ARE
OCCURRING THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE THROUGH THIS EVENING.
RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE
STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS. SOILS REMAIN NEARLY SATURATED ACROSS THE
AREA...SO ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL MAY AGGRAVATE ONGOING FLOODING
OR RESULT IN ADDITIONAL FLOODING.
* FLOODING OF STREETS AND LOW LYING FLOOD PRONE AREAS ARE
POSSIBLE. ALSO LOW WATER CROSSINGS ON COUNTY ROADS MAY BECOME
