CST MONDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN KANSAS CITY/PLEASANT HILL HAS
ISSUED A WIND CHILL ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS
EVENING TO 9 AM CST MONDAY. A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SNOW AND SLEET
REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT.
* TIMING...A CONTINUING MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET WILL MOVE FROM EAST
CENTRAL KANSAS THROUGH CENTRAL MISSOURI THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON
AND EARLY EVENING HOURS. SNOW SHOULD BEGIN TO TAPER OFF FROM NORTH
TO SOUTH LATER THIS EVENING.
* ACCUMULATIONS...AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH
SUNDAY EVENING.
* IMPACTS...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CAUSE ROADWAYS TO BE SNOW
PACKED. WINDS BETWEEN 15 AND 20 MPH WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUSLY COLD
WIND CHILL VALUES OVERNIGHT...WITH VALUES BOTTOMING OUT BETWEEN 15
BELOW AND 20 BELOW ZERO MONDAY MORNING.
