LABETTE COUNTY...
AT 1235 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A FEW HIT-OR-MISS SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS FAR SOUTHEAST KANSAS...PRODUCING POCKETS OF
MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN. ADDITIONAL SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY
IS POSSIBLE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.
THIS MORNING`S NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCED WIDESPREAD RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF TWO TO FOUR INCHES ACROSS FAR WEST AND NORTHWEST PORTIONS
OF LABETTE COUNTY...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS.
EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS MORNING`S HEAVY RAIN IS LIKELY PRODUCING
FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES
IN URBAN AREAS. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE
BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS MAY ALSO BE
SUBJECT TO FLOODING.
