    Conservative.

Thanks for the comment. Anything worth doing requires resources (time, money, people) and while the NPDNC registry is non-profit that does not mean we are non-expense.

So, as a result we attempt to break even with the minimal ($1.24) a year fee if you want to register more than one phone number.

So far most of our almost 50k members have registered for free.

So, I don't think it is sad at all. It is simply the reality of doing something hard and worth doing.

Nancy Boyda also just signed on to the National Political Do Not Contact Registry and agreed not to robo call voters who sign up to stop robo calls at StopPoliticalCalls.org.

She is to be commended on her leadership on this issue that is truely non-partisan.

As I testified at the U.S. Senate 2.27 robo calls are an epidemic and are invading the privacy of All American Voters.

Our members are taking a stand and saying enough is enough at the National Political Do Not Contact Registry at StopPoliticalCalls.org.

Here is a quote from a member this morning:

I find it very frustrating… I tend to get calls at the WORST time. I have a one year old daughter, and it NEVER fails that the phone will ring when I put her down for a nap or for bed. Also my vote is private… so who do you think you are calling with a survey to find out who I am voting for!!! Stop calling me.”
