Van wrecked, abandoned at U.S. 56 bridge construction site

I don't know. I haven't looked at the bridge being replaced to the west. Is the old bridge still in place there? Could the driver have gone around barricades and crossed it and then thought to do the same at the second bridge?

I want to clarify that I called Ivan Wednesday morning with the news that he had the most write in votes, a development of which he was not yet aware. I quoted his response not thinking that outside of the context of our conversation it might be construed as flippant.

City, partners seeking grant for historic depot upgrades

The story was not "down-bumped." The library expansion, which I think has more interest to the community as a whole, story simply went into one of the four slots available on the web page.
When that happened, there was only one comment.

Baldwin schools first semester ended with the start of the holiday break. Was told today by high school office staff, grades have not yet been sent out.
