I know several fellow Olatheans who finally gave up and moved to MO as the 'rent' prices continue to rise. Not only are food, utilities and all around costs going up, MO is less expensive for housing.
I was approved to purchase a home, however decided to remain a renter as I couldn't do the maintenance and didn't want to be one of the causes for the next housing bubble, fear I am next for the move across the state line.
