I agree that we do need ambulance service. I would not live here if we didn't have one within the city. This however should be a Douglas County ambulance service not local service only. First, the citizens of Baldwin City can not afford it. (Our taxes are already to high) Number two, there would be a very large turnover of employees, much as the Baldwin City Police Department. We would give them on the job experience then they would move on to bigger & better jobs.
