White Christmas

The first measurable snowfall of the season all but guaranteed a white Christmas with daytime highs not predicted to exceed freezing until Wednesday. Baldwin City dodged the worst of the storm, getting about 3 inches when 4 to 7 inches were forecast. That was enough to present scenes of winter wonder and allow children to breakout toys stored away since last spring.
