Governor, community support Sikhs

Members of the local Sikh community honored Lt. Brian Murphy, who was shot nine times after responding to the Aug. 5 shooting but told fellow police officers to help other victims first. New York-based Sikhs for Justice awarded Murphy $10,000 for his heroism.
