Ted Lawyer's millitary career timeline November 11, 2008

Kansas Army National Guard 1st Sgt. Ted Lawyer has spent nearly all of his adult life serving in the United States military. Out of high school he served with the U.S. Navy in Vietnam. He then served in the Navy Reserves, U.S. Air Force Reserves, Missouri Army National Guard, Kansas Army National Guard and then in Iraq for the National Guard.

Ted Lawyer served two tours with the U.S. Navy just out of high school on ships stationed off the coast of Vietnam from 1967 to 1969.

In September 2008 Ted Lawyer was recognized as officially retired from the Army National Guard in a ceremony at Fort Riley. He had served with three different branches of the military since 1967.
