Thomas the Tank Engine July 19, 2005
Thomas the Tank Engine celebrated another popular weekend in Baldwin City as nearly 8,500 people rode the train and enjoyed the various activities at the depot. Photos taken July 8, 9 and 10, 2005.
Braulio Sierra, 3 years old, watches Thomas the Tank Engine Saturday afternoon at The Day Out With Thomas 2005. Sierra came to visit Thomas from the Kansas City area.

Recent Baldwin High School graduate Lindsey Hitchcock, right, helps Greenlee Rigby down the inflatable slide Saturday afternoon. Rigby is 2 1/2 years old and was visiting from Kirksville, Mo. Hitchcock volunteered as part of the BHS wrestling team, since she was one of its managers last winter.
Many young boys play with one of the toy trains at The Day Out With Thomas 2005 on Friday morning. The tent with the trains was busy throughout the weekend as children could watch and play with several trains.
Alexander Martin, 4 years old, takes a turn going down the inflatable slide Friday morning. Martin was visiting from Eudora.
