The old trading post at Globe has been the home, studio and store of David Anderson for the past nine years. In addition to antiques, Anderson and his partner and girlfriend Nedra Lynch sell his stained and leaded glass pieces, her paintings and the collaborative works that combine both their talents from the store. Those unfamiliar with Anderson's work can find two donated examples of his work on display Lumberyard Arts Center.

Art glass shop the draw in Globe

The relative isolation of his shop in Globe, 8 miles from the nearest town, belies David Anderson's fondness for people. “I love people,” he said. “I love talking to people. I love to teach. Part of being an artist is teaching others. We’re not going to be here forever.”
