Member of the Baldwin City Public Library Board of Trustee, Friends of the Library, City Council and library and city staffs pose for the ceremonial ground breaking Monday for the $776,775 library expansion. Gene Fritzel Construction, the contractor for the project that will add 3,183 square feet to the 5,958-square-foot building, is to have the work completed within 158 calendar days, although the contractor will be allowed additional days for bad weather. Employees with the contractor at the library Monday starting work on the expansion.
