Martha Smith receives a hug from Katharine Hemphill, who is 100 years younger than her great great aunt. Smith will be 107 Saturday, and her family will celebrate the birthday from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Smith Center in Lawrence, 4730 Brandon Woods Terrace, and invites her friends. The family asks that friends bring cards only.
