A Douglas County Sheriff’s officer Monday morning walks to a car involved in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 59 about 2 miles north of the intersection with U.S. Highway 56. A Kansas Highway Patrol officer on the scene said both drivers in the wreck suffered minor injuries but refused medical transport.
