Stephanie Thomas, right, instructs Hannah Sherman of Baldwin City on the clearing and packing of radishes during a recent morning at the Spring Creek Farm that Thomas owns south of Baldwin City. Sherman is a volunteer on the 20-acre farm that provide fresh produce, eggs and poultry to members of a subscription produce services, local farmers markets, Baker University, the Merc Community Market and a number of local restaurants.
