The Baldwin High School boys' soccer team won the regional championship Friday night at its home field. It was the first time the Bulldogs have qualified for the state quarterfinals. BHS beat Independence 4-2 in penalty kicks after regulation ended 0-0.

Louis Joslyn walked up to the ball, waited for the whistle and then booted the game-winning, history-making penalty kick. Joslyn then sprinted toward the BHS fans along the sideline.
