Baldwin High School senior Justin Vander Tuig slides head-first into second base, just narrowly beating the tag from the Louisburg short stop. Vander Tuig recorded a double on the play and helped spark a four-run rally in the sixth inning. BHS won the first game 9-4.

BHS baseball team earns first victories of 2011
Baldwin High School’s baseball team is no longer winless. After a few close games, including the seventh inning meltdown last week, the Bulldogs earned their first victory. The Bulldogs (2-9) won two of three games Monday and Tuesday.
