Opening meet postponed; BHS teams sweep competition

GARNETT — It took two days to complete the first cross country meet of the season, but the Baldwin High School teams easily won it here Friday. On Thursday, the Anderson County Invitational began, but storms soon rolled through the area. After the junior varsity girls’ race finished, lightning delayed the JV boys’ race. Nearly 45 minutes later, the meet was postponed to Friday.
