Familiar Frontier League foes will battle Friday night

Mike Berg knows his first win of the 2010 season means nothing heading into Friday night’s contest. On Sept. 3, his underdog Baldwin High School football team traveled to highly-ranked Paola hoping to bounce back after a dismal 2009 season. After 48 minutes of in-the-trenches football, his Bulldogs emerged with an overpowering 32-14 victory.

Single wing offense propels Bulldogs over Panthers

PAOLA — Josh Hoffman and Ryan Rogers helped the Baldwin High School football team turn back the clock — two years — here Friday night in the season opener. The pair of senior running backs provided most of the offense on the ground and through the air as the Bulldogs stomped highly-ranked Paola 32-14.
