The massive crane being used to place the pre-cast concrete walls for the safe room at the new Performing Arts Center started the process Tuesday morning. The PAC is being built between Baldwin High School and Baldwin Junior High School. It is unknown when the project will be completed. The Signal will have a story on the project in this week's Signal, which will be available Thursday.

Massive crane begins heavy lifting

Have you taken a drive by the Baldwin High School and Baldwin Junior High School complex recently? If so, you’ve probably noticed the large crane located between the two buildings. The massive crane came into town last week for the project that will soon involve large 56 foot high pre-cast concrete walls. However, those aren’t here yet.

This PAC is the biggest waste of taxpayer money I've ever seen.

We're spending all this money for 'The Cooper Performing Arts Center' just out of vanity. Incredible.
