Hugh Murphy, University of Kansas senior, sprints down the javelin runway during one of his throws Friday night at the Kansas Relays. Murphy and Eric Brown, both 2002 Baldwin High School graduates, competed Friday in the men's javelin event. Brown placed second and Murphy finished seventh.
