Troy Aaron Stanley 1992 - 2015 Vinland
Funeral services for Troy Aaron Stanley, 22, Vinland, were held Saturday, at First Church of the Nazarene. Burial followed at Vinland Cemetery. Pastor Robby Giffin officiated. Troy died Sunday, February 1, 2015. He was born May 29, 1992 in Lawrence, the son of Daniel K. and Sherry L. O’Bryon Stanley.
Troy graduated from Baldwin High School in 2010 and graduated college at North Central Kansas Technical College with a degree in Automotive Collision Technology. He worked for Wakarusa Township. His real passion was the restoration of his 1970 Super Bee.
He is survived by his parents, brothers Daniel Trent of Vinland, Travis Michael and a sister Taylor Renea both of the home, grandmother Mary Watson of Baldwin City, and aunt Jane Buttenhoff. Troy was dearly loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Herbert J. O’Bryon, John Robert, Helen Louise Shaw Stanley and a cousin Jack A. O’Bryon, and great-aunt Loretta Shaw Sutton.
