Diane Kay (Stoddard) Krysztof 1945 - 2015 Baldwin City

Diane Kay (Stoddard) Krysztof, 69, Baldwin City, Kansas passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence, Kansas. She was born May 25, 1945 at Warsaw, New York the daughter of Laverne “William” and Ethel Stoddard. In 1963, she graduated from Mark Keppel High School at Monterey Park, California.
On December 6, 1975 she was united in marriage to Gerald “Jerry” Krysztof in Temple City, California. They shared over thirty years of marriage. Jerry survives of the home.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and several brother and sister-in-laws. She preceded in death by her parents and her brother Barry Stoddard.
Diane worked as an Insurance Clerk for Alpine Oncology in Reno, Nevada for twenty years. She moved to Baldwin City in 1997 and worked for Dr. Phyllis Ragley in Lawrence, Kansas for fifteen years.
Diane earned a Black Belt in Karate. She was a Car Show enthusiast and volunteered at the Ole’ Marias Des Cygne River Run in Ottawa, Kansas for fifteen years. Diane was also a NASCAR fan. She also enjoyed gardening, cross stitch, working on puzzles and attending niece’s ball games. Diane had a great love for Native American culture, especially Eagles.
Graveside services and Interment will be held 10 am Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Baldwin City, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, 712 9th Street, Baldwin City, KS 66006.
