Robert F. Bell 1950 - 2011 Baldwin City
Graveside services for Robert F. Bell, 60, of Baldwin City, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin City.
Mr. Bell died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, at his residence.
He was born December 13, 1950, in Ottawa, Kan., the son of Frances Edward “Buss” and Bertha Evelyn (Ewing) Bell.
Mr. Bell grew up in Ottawa, later living in Lawrence and Baldwin City.
He graduated from Ottawa High School in 1968 and later attended Pittsburg State University.
From 1972 until 1984, Mr. Bell owned and operated Bell Automotive and Electric, with his brother, Steven, in Lawrence. For the next several years he painted houses professionally. In recent years he had been a cook at Cordoba’s restaurant in Baldwin City.

The family will meet with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at Lamb-Robert Funeral Home, Baldwin City.
