George R. Craig 1938 - 2008 Topeka

Funeral services for George Robert "Bob" Craig, 69, Topeka, were Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, Topeka. Mr. Craig died Jan. 15, 2008, at Midland Hospice House.
He was born July 13, 1938, at Lawrence, the son of George M. and Vivian E. (Patchen) Craig. He graduated from Baldwin High School in 1956.
He married Janice C. Spear. They divorced.
He married Lois (Hall) Dolezal, Dec. 25, 1979.
He was an entrepreneur of many businesses including Dollar Wise Motel, Wilson, and Bon Del. He was an active member of the Lions Club at Wilson and Russell. He retired from Laidlaw Bus Company.
Survivors include his wife; companion, Angel; two sisters, Shirley Craig and Barbara Bryans, Topeka; four brothers, Carl, Lawrence, Ronnie, Mission, Texas, Richard and Gary, both of Lawrence; children, Christopher, Dallas, Kelly, Winfield, Kevin, The Colony, Texas, Michael, Russell, Michelle Kirk, Baldwin City, Rebecca Jardon, Baldwin City, Alan Dolezal, Edmond, Okla., John Dolezal, Skiatook, Okla., Linda Keller and Laura Jones, both of Manhattan; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services and private family inurnment will be at a later date.
