Mary June Impson 1930 - 2008 Denton, Tex.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 16 for Mary June Impson, 77, Denton, Tex. Mrs. Impson died Jan. 27, 2008, after a battle with cancer.
Mrs. Impson was born Nov. 28, 1930, in Durant, Okla., the daughter of Opal Dennis Curtis and L.C. Curtis. She graduated from high school in Yuba, Okla.
During the early 1960s, Mrs. Impson taught at Vinland High School. She also taught home economics at Central Junior High School in Lawrence and Texas Women's University in Denton.
She married Boytt Impson in Durant in 1949. They divorced in 1969. They remarried in 1972 and divorced again in 1974. She married Billy Roy Switzer in Texas in 1982 and they divorced in 1994. They remarried in Las Vegas in May of 2001.
She is survived by her husband of the home; one daughter, Delene Impson, rural Vinland; two sons, Keiller Impson, Dayton, Tenn., and Loren Impson, Mt. Ida, Ark.; grandsons Cail Hendry and Johnny Hendry and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The memorial service Feb. 16 will be at the Cole Chapel of First United Methodist Church, 201 S. Locust St. in Denton.
