Fred Breithaupt 1919 - 2008 Overbrook

Services for Fred Breithaupt, 88, Overbrook, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Grace Community Church of Overbrook. Mr. Breithaupt died Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
He was born Oct. 10, 1919, in Worden, the son of John and Charlotte Rappard Breithaupt. Mr. Breithaupt was a dairyman, farmer and stockman for more than 50 years southeast of Overbrook. He married Eunice Pohl on April 4, 1945, in Ottawa. She survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Breithaupt, Dallas, Marilyn Peterjohn and husband Karl, Wichita, and Janice Laymon and husband Tom, Wilmington, Del.; two grandchildren, Christina and Alex Peterjohn; a brother, J.C. Breithaupt and wife Carolyn, Baldwin City; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Dorothy Wintermantel, Winona Schwalm, Frances Flory and Ruth Hutchens; and three brothers, Don, Charles and Leland.
