The Baldwin City Fire Department has responded to and is currently fighting a house fire at 1017 Grove Street.

Tom Johnson, a resident of the house with his wife, Sarah, and their three children, said the fire apparently started at about 5:30 p.m. when he reset a breaker switch that kicked off after the basement of the house flooded.
