Residents invited to submit ideas for statue
As part of a carving symposium the Kansas Sculptors Associations will have in Baldwin City later this year, artists will create a stone carving that will remain in the community.
The association is inviting residents to submit ideas for the work that best represents Baldwin City. Drawings or description of ideas may be sent before March 15 to: Lumberyard Arts Center, P.O. Box 523, Baldwin City, KS 66006, Attention: Sculpture.
