Baldwin High wrestlers earn more honors
The Baldwin High School wrestlers earned recognition on the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association’s All-Academic Team. The were Andrew Morgan, first team, four-time state qualifier, two-time state placer and 2012 state champion; Colton Bonner, honorable mention, two-time state qualifier, 2012 state champion; Cody Sellers, honorable mention, two-time state qualifier.
The Bulldog team as a whole earned honorable mention for its members classroom work.
In other news, Morgan has bee selected to compete in KWCA Classic, which matches small-school wrestlers against foes from 5A and 6A schools. The event will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the Topeka Expocentre. Morgan will wrestle Colby Watters of Arkansas City in the 132-pound class.
