BHS boys soccer will host regional game Tuesday
The Baldwin High School boy's soccer team will begin its march to the state tournament at home Tuesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs were seeded No. 2 in the southeast regional. The regional brackets were released Saturday. The Bulldogs (12-3-1) are top seed in the bottom half of the bracket and must win that bracket to advance to state.
Baldwin will the winner today's contest between No. 7 Paola (4-12) and No. 12 Columbus (1-15). BHS will host the winner at 4 p.m. Tuesday at its home field north of the school.
The winner of that game will play the winner of the contest between No. 3 Independence (12-4) and No. 6 Ottawa (5-8-3). That game will also start at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Spring Hill (13-3) earned the top spot in the region. The Broncos will play either No. 8 Louisburg (2-12-2) or No. 9 Riverton (1-11). The other half of that bracket includes No. 4 Fort Scott (11-5) and No. 5 Coffeyville (9-6).
