With an outside shot at the NAIA playoffs, the Baker University football team finished its season with a blowout victory Saturday. The Wildcats rolled to a 50-14 victory over Graceland on Saturday in Lamoni, Iowa, to close the football season with a 7-3 overall record and fifth consecutive winning season.

While the past week at Baldwin High School was buffer week, meaning students could not access the gyms to practice sports, that doesn’t week was not totally sports free. BHS girls participated in their annual Powderpuff game that the student council organizes every year.

As Baldwin High School students prepare for their first theatrical performance in the new USD 348 Performing Arts Center this weekend, they have more to learn than dialogue. BHS theater is performing the musical “Cinderella” for its fall musical. Preparations have been going strong as the first show is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday.
